The Business of Art - Pivoting

As an independent artist, I've had to adapt countless times. It's likely just part of being an artist or perhaps being in business in general. Either way, it can be time-consuming and, yes, occasionally overwhelming. Take the tech side of business, for instance. As a creative person, that's not a skill I feel particularly confident in. From social media to building my website, it took many long, frustrating days to figure out how to make things run smoothly. What a significant learning curve that was! However, I must say it is becoming easier. The more you dive in and just do it, the simpler it becomes, even though mistakes will happen along the way. I was thrilled when, after numerous attempts, I finally figured out what I needed to do, and it turned out to be a simple fix. So, I suppose what I'm saying is to trust yourself and dive into that challenging, overwhelming part of your business. "You will learn to fly, or you will land on something solid," and that is rewarding.

Thank you for all the support,

Tina / LaToscana' Studio
